HOSPITAL SECURITY PREPAREDNESS COURSE

They are out there, patiently planning. Will your hospital be ready? Hospitals are places where people go to seek cures, but feel vulnerable while they are there. Hospitals need to be a safe place, both medical and security-wise. Communities have recognized the need for a more formal approach to hospital security. Please visit our learning management system to find out more and register.

Hospitals are considered critical community facilities and therefore may be targeted to create panic and terror by groups that would cause harm to a community. There is an identified need to provide excellent security to hospitals through mitigation and proper response. They are requiring security officers and special police to successfully complete training in terrorism awareness, including building evacuation, unattended packages, unknown substances, and emergency procedures.
